Seeking the Welfare of the City of Dallas since 1857—Jeremiah 29:7

The Cathedral Youth!

Welcome
We’re a group of high schoolers that have made a commitment to each other as we engage our present and prepare for our future. With students from Woodrow Wilson, Bishop Lynch, St. Mark’s, Hillcrest, and West Mesquite high schools, we represent some of the diversity that is Dallas! We hope that you’ll join as we go deeper in our life and faith!
For more information please contact Rev. Stephen Setzer, ssetzer@episcopalcathedral.org.

Sunday Brunch:
Come join us on Sundays after the 10:30 a.m. service for a quick one-hour meal and conversation time. It’s a great opportunity to get to know one another over some tasty food. Meals are free!

In June, The Cathedral Youth went to Toronto for an urban mission. While there, we worked with the marginalized population of Toronto and experienced social justice workshops with Church of The Redeemer and Sanctuary Ministries of Toronto. We stayed at the University of Toronto and experienced the great cosmopolitan landscape of Chinatown, Little India, Kensington Market, and many other places in that great city! See some pictures below:

"Sunset at The Cathedral"

"Sunset at The Cathedral" is a quarterly event that is hosted by the Cathedral, which features artists and students from local Dallas high schools. In October of 2013, there were over five different bands and performers who played to an audience of over one hundred people. At the end of the evening, local Dallas rapper, Dustin Cavazos, performed several songs. Sunset at The Cathedral’s vision is to create a better connection between the church and the East Dallas community and educational institutions — schools like Woodrow Wilson High School, Booker T. Washington, and Bishop Lynch.
